Hey, so there’s this debate about power fantasy vs depressing realism.
I’m firmly in the first camp, I read (fan)fiction for the over-the-top spectacle and “maximum smugness”.
However, I also like writing that doesn’t completely suck - the thing is, it is absolutely possible to write interesting stories even with completely OP characters and so on - One Punch Man is the very classic example.
I like those.
